Richard A. Lindsey Lindsey

CPA

Richard A. Lindsey Lindsey, also known as the “Renegade CPA,” is a small business tax expert, consultant, advisor, speaker, and author who helps companies, and their owners, keep the money they’ve earned instead of handing it over to Uncle Sam. He has over 25 years of experience as a CPA and 15 years of “in-the-trenches” work before that in the family business.

While working in the family business, Richard A. Lindsey returned to the University of South Alabama in 1989 to earn his Master of Accounting (MAcc) degree. Upon graduation, he joined the University as an adjunct professor of accounting and a local accounting firm as a staff accountant. Richard A. Lindsey became a partner in Lindsey & Waldo in 2000.

Paula L. Waldo

CPA

Paula Waldo is a Mobile native and a University of South Alabama alumni. She was graduated in 2000 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration concentrating in accounting. After completing her undergraduate studies, she
continued her education at the University of South Alabama receiving a Master of Accounting in 2004.

Paula has worked as an accountant in both public accounting as well as industry. She enjoys the personal interaction of public accounting, looking for tax opportunities, and helping clients with difficult tax issues. Paula also works with small businesses assisting the owners with financial planning and taxes.

Paula belongs to the Estate Planning Council of Mobile and is active with the Mobile Azalea Trail, a project of the Mobile Jaycees. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family.

Kristen W. Davis

CAP, OM—Office Manager

Kristen Davis is a Mobile native. Kristen began work as a leasing consultant at luxury apartment communities. Kristen quickly advanced to Assistant Manager before finally being hand-selected as acting Manager for a newly developed multi-million-dollar community.

In late 2007, Kristen returned home to Mobile and joined Lindsey & Waldo as a data entry clerk, but was soon promoted to Office Manager. Kristen is a Certified Administrative Professional with a specialization in Organizational Management.

Kristen is also a recent recipient of the Amazin’ Admins Award. Kristen enjoys being the face and voice our clients usually first interact with.
